The project aims to improve the capacity of the Namibia National Marine Research and Information Center to conduct research in this area and assess the state of fishery resources in the country.
The CETMAR Foundation will support the training and management of data for exploratory analysis and will protect the analysis processes in the management of environmental data that influence the biology and behavior of fishery resources.
The project also improved the improvement of NatMIRC’s capacity in the evaluation of stocks of current or potential commercial interest species, as well as the strengthening of the dialogue between research, industry and administration through the implementation of scientific dissemination actions .
